Steam Protection Update
10 days ago by ANUB7S
- Our trading system stays mostly the same, but sales will be completed and credited only after the item protection ends. What we'd consider a completed trade in the past is now status 13 (
CompletedButReversible
). - If there’s a problem with the trade or the other party reverses it, you can now open a dispute while it's in Status 13, whether you're the buyer or seller.
- Steam trade protection is the same as the trade hold, so it lasts 7 days + X hours until Valve Midnight.
- To be credited after protection ends, you must have Trade Tracking enabled.
- If it's not enabled, your trades will only auto-complete after 14 days total (7 days hold + 7 days delay).
Other
- We also added asset ID deposits to our deposit endpoint, so you do not need to get your CS2 inventory on Empire for each deposit any more.
